Job Summary:
Sells new accounts and renews existing accounts in keeping with agency and individual goals while building relationships with clients and other industry related professionals. Identifies and solicits sales prospects from various sources.
Job Availability: Full-Time or Part-Time
Responsibilities:
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Establish client relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing and sales goals.
Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about insurance options.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
Requirements:
-Property & Casualty and/or Life Insurance license (must be able to obtain)
-Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales
associate, or telemarketing) preferred
-Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
-Excellent interpersonal skills and People-oriented
-Self-motivated
-Able to learn computer functions
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Ability to conduct interviews in the office and in client’s home or business
-Ability to assess client’s needs and suggest insurance plans
-Ability to execute a detailed business plan
